Nebraska Department of Roads:  West Dodge Project

In this State-to-State video, the Nebraska Department of Roads features the Dodge Street Expressway construction project.  Omaha Mayor Mike Fahey and Nebraska Highway Commissioner Richard Reiser detail the positive effect the improved intersection has had on the region.  Omaha city officials proposed the project to deal with major traffic gridlock caused by expanding traffic volumes.  A two way communications plan was initiated to improve public awareness and understanding of the project.  Since its construction, the Dodge Street Expressway has improved traffic flow and economic activity in the area.
