Encore Presentation: Rebuilding After Katrina

Recovery Road: Rebuilding After Hurricane Katrina—
Transportation TV documents the hard fought progress made to replace transportation infrastructure in and around the city of New Orleans, 5-year after the destruction. In August, 2005 Hurricane Katrina took the lives of more than 1,800 people and caused an estimated $81 billion in property damage. This May, 2011 video highlights some of the many accomplishments that have taken place.
