Hundreds Rally for Roads on the National Mall

In this Transportation TV, coverage of the Rally for Roads on the National Mall which drew an estimated 600 participants from across the country. Many of the demonstrators work in the highway construction industry which has been hit hard by an unemployment rate in the double digits. Some carried signs , others wore their hard hats and safety vests. Representative Nick Rahall (D-WV), the Ranking Member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, received repeated applause during his speech.
